Getting to know you

As a holistic nutritionist, I assess what is happening in the body on a physiological level through a review of symptomatology. Together we will assess all aspects of your physical and mental health, past and present, to determine what is contributing to your current health state. Some things we will look at are emotional health and manifestations of trauma in your body, environmental factors, prior injuries, lifestyle, habits, and of course diet.

Getting to the root

Sometimes we are not aware of the impact these factors have on our health. A perfume we have used for years could be causing migraines due to the chemicals used in it's formulation. Emotions from a traumatic event in our lives could be harboring in our bodies creating adverse symptoms such as muscle pain and fatigue. Due to the immense amount of day to day stress that our society seems to accept, we could be experiencing burnout or gastrointestinal difficulties. Perhaps we were exposed to heavy metals which are degrading our brain health and other organs. Together we will get to the root cause.

Bringing it all together

Upon reviewing all of these important factors, I then formulate a completely individualized plan where I will recommend various herbal remedies, vitamin and mineral therapies, lifestyle recommendations to support your goals, along with therapeutic diet changes in order to help you feel your best. Using Cognitive Behavioural strategies, I work with my clients through their journey and really focus on healthy habits in order to create lasting lifestyle change.
